After receiving a First Class Honours degree in Biochemistry at Canterbury University, Helena Parsons spent 5 years as a medical researcher at the Christchurch School of Medicine, during which time she gained experience in establishing and maintaining technology systems.

Stepping into the tertiary sector, Helena managed the implementation of a provider's business critical database and relevant business processes. Her role further developed to include responsiblity for product and service development for the company. During this time she discovered the discipline of innovation management and her passion for purposeful strategic thinking and creative, innovative activity.

Helena has applied her skills to a wide range of projects and opportunities.
